Dr. Noor Buchholz

Founder & Chairman of Urology in Emerging Countries (U-Merge)

Dr. Noor Buchholz is world-renown urologist, trained in Germany, Switzerland and Australia. From 2002 to 2014, he was the Director of Stone Services & Endourology at The Royal London Hospital/ UK. Dr. Buchholz is an accomplished, world-renown experienced urologist who deals with all diseases of the urinary system. He has been one of only 50 trainers worldwide recognized by the International Endourology Society (IES). He authored more than 300 articles in world-class scientific journals.

He served as a board member of the Stone Section of the European Association of Urology (eULIS-EAU) and of the International Urology Society (SIU). He is the founder and chairman of Urology in Emerging Countries (U-merge) and of the global conference on stone disease Experts in Stone Disease (ESD).

Dr. Ali Timucin Atayoglu

Head of Traditional & Complementary Medicine Department in Istanbul Medipol University

Dr. Ali Timuçin Atayoğlu, after leading the Department of Family Medicine at the International School of Medicine in Istanbul Medipol University, now serves as the head of the Department of Traditional & Complementary Medicine. His research is focused on Evidence-Based Preventive Integrative Medicine. In addition to his academic role, he holds the position of president at the Turkish Holistic & Integrative Medicine Association. During 2007-2008, he visited Prof. Fang Zhu, a distinguished apitherapy expert in China, and actively participated in establishing the inaugural Apitherapy Center within the university in Turkey. Furthermore, he serves as a board member of the Apiceutical Research Center in the UK and assumed the presidency of the International Apitherapy Federation in 2018.
